| Dating to the early 1800s, Chuckery has a proud tradition in agriculture. There are several Ohio Century farms in the area. Local folklore claims that Chuckery was named for the woodchuck or groundhog due to all the holes they caused in the road. Today Chuckery is home to St. Paul Lutheran Church and School as well as several thriving famsteads. |
