|Reed Covered Bridge
|The Reed Covered Bridge was built over the Big Darby Creek by Reuben L. Partridge in 1884. Spanning over 150 feet,
it was once the longest covered bridge in Union County, Ohio. This bridge was bypassed by State Route 38 in the
1960s. It fell into the creek on August 19, 1993 while county officials were discussing its restoration and preservation.
This called attention to the remaining four Partridge covered bridges in Union County.
